Frequently Asked Questions
Piercings & Appointments
Can I bring my own jewelry to my appointment to be pierced with?
We can potentially use your existing jewelry for your piercing, as long as...
- We can verify the material of your jewelry.
- The style of jewelry is compatible with our practitioners' preferences (we work with threadless, flat back style studs).
- The jewelry is compatible with your anatomy.
To determine if this is possible for your case, please bring in your jewelry a week in advance of your appointment. This allows us enough time to reprocess and sterilize your piece to be ready for you when you return. We cannot guarantee that we are able to pierce you with your own jewelry if it is brought to us on the same day of your appointment. If we are unable to pierce you with your existing jewelry, we have plenty of options for you to choose from.
How many piercings can I do in one appointment?
Although this is up to the discretion of your piercer, we typically offer up to 6 piercings in one sitting.
What do I do if I am running late to my appointment?
Please let us know as soon as you can that you are running late. We offer a ten minute grace period for all piercing appointments - if you are any later than this, you will be subject to late fees and asked to reschedule.

How do I care for my new piercing?
Remember the following guidelines for caring for your piercing:

- Always wash your hands before handling or cleaning your piercing.
- Avoid activities that could snag or jostle your new piercing, and be sure to keep it away from unclean surfaces during exercise.

- Wait until your piercing is fully healed before hanging any chains or charms on it.
- Avoid oral contact and contact with others' bodily fluids while your piercing is healing.

What do I if I have questions about my healing piercing?
We are happy to help you troubleshoot if you have any further questions or feel that your piercing needs attention from one of our practitioners.
First, please take clear photos of your new piercing (front and back) without manipulating the area in any way. This allows us to see what the area looks like without any applied pressure influencing its angle.
Our piercers will take a look and let you know their recommended course of action, or if you need to come in for an in-person appointment for further assistance.
